We recently received an e-mail from Google, informing us that Google + will be closing down on the 2nd April 2019.
Part of the e-mail stated the following:
On April 2nd, your Google+ account and any Google+ pages you created will be shut down and we will begin deleting content from consumer Google+ accounts. Photos and videos from Google+ in your Album Archive and your Google+ pages will also be deleted. You can download and save your content, just make sure to do so before April. Note that photos and videos backed up in Google Photos will not be deleted.
The process of deleting content from consumer Google+ accounts, Google+ Pages, and Album Archive will take a few months, and content may remain through this time. For example, users may still see parts of their Google+ account via activity log and some consumer Google+ content may remain visible to G Suite users until consumer Google+ is deleted.
As early as February 4th, you will no longer be able to create new Google+ profiles, pages, communities or events.
Please note this is not the search engine, but google’s social network site. It will not affect your ranking on Google.
If you have any concerns regarding this shut down then please contact us and we will advise you on how this may affect you.
Further to our recent post regarding a customer of ours, who had their website on a low cost main stream web hosting company. We have now transferred their website to our website servers.
The previous company required a monthly payment and only offered a single email address. Also the website had severe restrictions and further options were only available at extra cost.
We are pleased to announce that we successfully arranged a transfer of their site to our website servers together with their domain name. We are now working with them, improving their website and creating email addresses as they need them.
To see how their current website is progressing you can visit it here.
If you are not happy with your current website provider then please contact us to see how we can help.
We have been busy updating our current client websites to reflect the seasonal change from Summer to Autumn. This is particularly important to our clients in the fashion business and seasonal merchandise.
Also it is worth remembering that now is the ideal time to update your website ready for Christmas.
If you are interested in launching a new website or updating an existing website, then please contact us to see how we can help.
